Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026 (added the optional Multiplayer Leagues online feature)

Football Club Sim 27 ("the game", "we", "us") is a football management game that runs on your device, together with this marketing website at playfcsim.com. This policy covers both and explains what data we do and do not handle.

The short version

The solo game is single-player and plays fully offline. It does not require an account, and your career stays on your device. By default the app collects no personal data and contains no ads, analytics or tracking. There is one optional online feature, Multiplayer Leagues, where a few friends share a season using an invite code; it connects to our server only if you choose to use it, and only with a nickname you pick, never your real name, email or account. Two other things use a network, and only where named: in-app purchases (processed by Apple and our purchase provider), and this website, which loads the Meta Pixel to measure our advertising. All of these are explained below. The Pixel runs only on the website, never in the app.

Data stored on your device

Your career stays on your device. The game saves your progress, your save slots, clubs, squads, results, settings, honours and records, locally on your iPhone or iPad using on-device storage. It never leaves the device, is never sent to us, and is not accessible to us. Deleting the app removes it. The one exception is the optional Multiplayer Leagues feature described next, which by design sends only what a shared league needs.

Multiplayer Leagues (optional online feature)

Multiplayer Leagues is entirely optional and off unless you choose to use it. It lets a small group of friends play one shared season together in a private, invite-code league. You have to unlock the Full Game and then create or join a league before anything is sent, and the rest of the game stays fully offline. It uses no account: there is no sign-up, no email, no password, and no login with Apple, Google or Facebook.

When you use it, the app sends the following to our server (a Cloudflare Worker with a Cloudflare D1 database), solely to run the shared league:

We do not collect your real name, email address, contacts, location, photos or any advertising identifier through this feature, and we set no cookies. Our server keeps no request logs and does not store your IP address in its database; your network address is visible to Cloudflare only momentarily, to apply anti-abuse rate limits, and is not retained by us. This data is used only to operate your leagues; it is never used for advertising, is never sold, and is not shared except with Cloudflare as our hosting provider, whose handling is governed by its own privacy policy.

Your control over it. You can delete your online identity at any time from the game's Settings ("Delete online account / identity"). This removes your seat from every league and unlinks your random player ID from any results kept on a league's history. Nicknames are visible to your own league-mates only; each player can report or hide a nickname they find objectionable. A league that is never started and left idle is deleted automatically.

In-app purchases

The game is free to download and play a full first season, and offers optional in-app purchases: a one-time Full Game unlock (to continue your career season after season), an optional one-time Challenge Mode unlock, and optional Club Credits packs. Purchases are the only feature that uses the network.

App Store metadata

When you download the game, Apple provides us with standard, aggregated App Store Connect reports, for example download counts, territories, device and operating-system breakdowns, and crash diagnostics. This information is collected and controlled by Apple, is shown to us only in aggregate, and is not used by us to identify you. Apple's handling of it is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. We add no analytics, telemetry or tracking of our own.

Advertising measurement (website only)

This website loads the Meta Pixel, a measurement tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook / Instagram). We use it to understand how our advertising performs, for example which ads bring people to the site or the App Store, and to show relevant ads to people who have visited. To do this the Pixel sets cookies in your browser (such as _fbp) and sends Meta your IP address, basic browser and device information, and the pages you view on this site; that data is handled under Meta's own privacy policy. We do not receive your name, email or contact details through the Pixel; we only see aggregate advertising results. The Pixel runs only on the website, never in the app. You can opt out by blocking third-party cookies or trackers in your browser and via your Meta ad preferences, see our Cookies & Tracking page.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

In the app:

On the website, the only cookies and tracking are those set by the Meta Pixel described above. For the full detail, see our Cookies & Tracking page.

Selling or sharing your data

We never sell, rent or share your personal data, not for marketing and not for any other purpose. Your single-player career stays on your device. We do not operate user accounts. The only data we hold on a server is the small amount the optional Multiplayer Leagues feature needs, described above, held on our behalf by Cloudflare purely to run your leagues.

This website

This is a static marketing site. Its fonts, styles and images are all served from the site itself, with no third-party fonts or CDNs. The one third-party script it loads is the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement, described above, and that is the only thing on the site that sets cookies.

Children's privacy

The single-player game is rated for general audiences and collects no personal data. The optional Multiplayer Leagues feature is designed to avoid collecting personal data too: it uses a random on-device ID and a nickname you choose rather than any real identity, and we ask players not to enter personal information as a nickname. Because nicknames chosen by other players are visible within a shared league, each player can report or hide any nickname they find objectionable. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. In-app purchases, and the Full Game unlock that Multiplayer Leagues requires, are handled through the App Store, where Apple's parental controls and Ask to Buy apply.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
